Mentre in tempo reale saranno remixati i film "All My Friends Are Dead", "Black Rain" e "Squali Rotten", una colonna sonora originale sarà composta in diretta da una rock band mentre uno degli attori del film improvviserà brevi spettacoli e letture per le immagini. Performa 11, la quarta edizione della biennale di fama internazionale di nuove arti visive e performance presentata da Performa, si terrà a New York dal 1 al 21 novembre 2011. Nelle tre settimane di biennale sarà presentato un nuovo lavoro di oltre 100 degli artisti più interessanti del panorama contemporaneo, in un programma innovativo abbattendo i confini tra arte visiva, musica, danza, poesia, moda, architettura, grafica, e l'arte culinaria . Presentato in collaborazione con un consorzio di oltre 50 istituzioni artistiche e più di 50 curatori, così come una rete di spazi pubblici e luoghi privati in tutta la città, Performa 11 accende New York con l'energia e le idee, agendo come un vitale "serbatoio pensante" che collega la mente attraverso i cinque quartieri e portando il pubblico insieme per nuove brillanti performance in tutte le discipline.

Fondata da Rose Lee Goldberg nel 2004, Performa è la principale organizzazione dedicata all'esplorazione del ruolo critico delle performance dal vivo nella storia del ventesimo secolo e incoraggia nuove direzioni di performance per il ventunesimo secolo. Performa 11, the fourth edition of the internationally acclaimed biennial of new visual art performance presented by Performa, will be held in New York City from November 1–21, 2011. The three-week biennial will showcase new work by more than 100 of the most exciting artists working today, in an innovative program breaking down the boundaries between visual art, music, dance, poetry, fashion, architecture, graphic design, and the culinary arts. Presented in collaboration with a consortium of more than 50 arts institutions and over 50 curators, as well as a network of public spaces and private venues across the city, Performa 11 will ignite New York City with energy and ideas, acting as a vital “think tank” linking minds across the five boroughs and bringing audiences together for brilliant new performances in all disciplines.
